Creating recipes to use my sourdough discard is one of my favorite pastimes. I stick my discard in lots of different recipes and share them here, on my website. You can turn your own favorite recipes into sourdough recipes using information found here. Sometimes the idea of sourdough discard can be confusing. At its most simple – discard is excess sourdough starter that is no longer active and is used in recipes for moisture, flavor and to avoid wasting it. You can read more about sourdough discard here.
