March Baking Checklist (2026)

March baking feels like that in-between season in the best way. Winter isn’t quite ready to let go, but you can feel spring trying to peek through. I’m still baking cozy staples like sourdough discard English muffins for slow mornings, but I’m also reaching for brighter flavors like my blueberry lemon sourdough focaccia (if you haven’t made that one yet -go make it!!!).

This month also marks one year of my Sourdough Croissant Bread, which still feels just as special as the first time I sliced into it. Flaky layers, buttery flavor, and all the croissant vibes without the full lamination process. It’s definitely worth celebrating (and trying if you haven’t already!).

Find my March Baking Checklist below (and if a link isn’t live yet, it’s coming soon). Happy baking!

    Hi Amy!
Any tips for high altitude baking ?!
    Thank you!

    1. The main adjustment at high altitude is fermentation speedโ€”your dough may rise faster, so check it earlier than the recipe suggests. Happy baking!
